Basically, it's a world party :) But seriously, Global Ginga unites what geography and politics divide. We are a radio show (and podcast) that features music from around the world. But we are much more than a radio show, we are a grass roots movement, an event entertainer, and a community partner. Created and hosted by Carla Leininger, from Brazil, and co-hosted by Sebastian Ogando, from the Dominican Republic, Global Ginga aims to be a multicultural agent of social change, because quality music comes in all shapes, colors, languages and sounds.

The album, "Eu andava como se fosse voar," showcases a fusion of new Brazilian Popular Music (MPB) with a distinct Afro-Bahian influence. It embraces rhythms like ijexá and Vassi while venturing into musical genres such as Coco, Baião, and even more universal styles like Rock and Rap.
