Update: I recently launched my newsletter, The Sheconomist [https://www.sheconomist.com/], and would love for you to subscribe: sheconomist.com - I share so many tools and resources that help young, high-achieving women with radical money and career self-advocacy.

My name is Thamina Stoll and my purpose in life is to be a cheerleader for other women. I’d like to extend a heartfelt invitation to you as we join forces in reclaiming economic power for women in a world that is often structured against us. By first dissecting and eventually closing the knowledge and access gaps that prevent women from achieving financial security, we can take an active role in creating a path toward gender equity.
Put simply, the mission of Give Her Dollars is to help women build wealth for themselves and other women. Through engaging, thought-provoking conversations with accomplished female leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs, I want to arm women worldwide with the confidence and tools to become financially independent.
Systemic oppression won’t be solved overnight, but a wealthy woman can walk out of (almost) every room she feels uncomfortable in and create opportunities for other women along the way. By supporting one another in this pursuit, we can work together to ultimately dismantle the systemic barriers that hold us back and create a brighter future for all women.

This week, we're joined by Cheryl Kellond [https://www.linkedin.com/in/c2kprofile], a trailblazing serial entrepreneur and investor with a track record of success in Silicon Valley. Cheryl has shipped over $750M in Version 1 products at startups and brands before founding her first startup. Her 2nd startup was a healthcare fintech where she raised $17M in Venture Capital funding and grew to $10M in annual revenue before exiting in 2021.
Her latest endeavor, Play Money [https://www.letsplaymoney.com/], combines the addictive engagement of TikTok with the savvy investment opportunities of AngelList. It's a game-changer in the world of startup investing, democratizing access by empowering everyday people to invest in early-stage companies through the retirement investment accounts (IRA). Angel investing, Cheryl explains, isn't just for millionaires.
Cheryl sees angel investing as a catalyst for learning, networking, and shaping the future. By bringing people together around shared investment opportunities, Play Money isn't just a platform—it's a community, empowering the next generation of investors to make their mark on the startup world.
Cheryl's mission extends beyond financial gains. She's challenging outdated norms in entrepreneurship, urging us to rethink how we talk about gender and inclusion in the startup world. For Cheryl, women are not the exception—they're the norm, and it's time we start treating them as such.
