Update: I recently launched my newsletter, The Sheconomist [https://www.sheconomist.com/], and would love for you to subscribe: sheconomist.com - I share so many tools and resources that help young, high-achieving women with radical money and career self-advocacy.

My name is Thamina Stoll and my purpose in life is to be a cheerleader for other women. I’d like to extend a heartfelt invitation to you as we join forces in reclaiming economic power for women in a world that is often structured against us. By first dissecting and eventually closing the knowledge and access gaps that prevent women from achieving financial security, we can take an active role in creating a path toward gender equity.
Put simply, the mission of Give Her Dollars is to help women build wealth for themselves and other women. Through engaging, thought-provoking conversations with accomplished female leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs, I want to arm women worldwide with the confidence and tools to become financially independent.
Systemic oppression won’t be solved overnight, but a wealthy woman can walk out of (almost) every room she feels uncomfortable in and create opportunities for other women along the way. By supporting one another in this pursuit, we can work together to ultimately dismantle the systemic barriers that hold us back and create a brighter future for all women.

This week, we delve into the inspiring journey of Marilynn Joyner [https://www.linkedin.com/in/marilynn-elise-joyner], the Founder and CEO of Her Workplace [https://www.herworkplace.com/about].
We explore Marilynn's journey from navigating the male-dominated commercial real estate industry to founding her own haven, Her Workplace. Lacking resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities herself as she was climbing the corporate ladder, Marilynn identified a profound need for a supportive community tailored to the unique challenges women face in their careers.
Marilynn crafted Her Workplace with three core principles in mind: accessibility, affordability, and inclusivity. By leveraging innovative commercial real estate deal structures and embracing technology, she ensures that Her Workplace remains accessible to all, regardless of background or career stage.
Marilynn's commitment to affordability sets Her Workplace apart, offering membership tiers tailored to accommodate women at every stage of their professional journey. She shares candid insights into the realities of building a startup from the ground up. Rejecting the traditional VC route, Marilyn embraces scrappiness and resilience, charting her own path towards sustainable growth and success.
