When I first heard Elena Lubenets’ story, I thought “how ironic…an insurance agent who completed one of the riskiest activities possible.” (You’ll just have to listen to find out what this risk taker did!) But what I LOVE is how facing a very physical risk led her to face the fear of leaving her corporate career. In this episode, Elena and I chat about facing fear to follow more purposeful work, being a woman in a leadership role in a male-dominated industry, the differences between selling and educating, and a whole lot more. Enjoy this episode, and don’t forget to subscribe to the Girl Next Door Wanting More podcast and share with your like-minded friends! Overcoming Fear with Merry Korn
THIS episode is for everyone! My guest, Merry Korn, shares so much information about overcoming fear…stories from her life, book recommendations, and even a list of things to do to move forward when you are afraid. I heard Merry’s story when she presented at a meeting I attended, and I STILL got chills talking to her for this podcast. I took down so many notes and takeaways. For example, I jotted down that hitting rock bottom can be a blessing, and that you just have to put on blinders and take action. Of course, you’ll want to listen to the entire episode for context and take your own notes! :) And don’t forget to subscribe to the Girl Next Door Wanting More podcast and share with your like-minded friends!
