We are turning the heat up with this episode, where we challenge the premise of ‘unconscious bias’. We keep it real with personal examples of experiencing unsavoury characters from other races and acknowledge the intentional effort and decisions we made as result to see the individuals as simply that- individuals, not spokespeople or necessarily representative of all others from their communities. We also discuss how appearances play into first impressions, to rightly or wrongly inform an opinion of others.
