Ghost Hampton By Ken McGorry The public clamor over a purported haunted house in the middle of Bridgehampton has not died down, as much as Lyle Hall wishes it would—he’s the unlikely discoverer of whatever’s been going on inside the decrepit Victorian everyone calls Old Vic. Since Lyle’s near-death experience killing kindly Elsie Cronk with his Hummer in a grisly car crash, he hasn’t been the same. He’s seen the error of his ways, his misspent adulthood, his career as the town’s greediest lawyer, his attempted playboy lifestyle, and truly wants to make amends. One new wrinkle—Lyle hears things. Dead things, dead people. And sometimes sees them, too. He cannot control the sounds and visions. Especially when a sad girl in Victorian garb appears to him outside Old Vic. She wants something, just like living people, but does not speak English. However, she does show Lyle a terrifying vision: his estranged 30-year-old daughter’s tombstone. Southampton Police detective Georgie Hall has four more days to live. If you believe such things. And she does not. GHOST HAMPTON, based on the novel by Ken McGorry, is narrated by Dennis Kleinman and stars and array of actors bringing the story to cinematic life.

210 East End Limo FIXED (Sorry. -GH Editor)
Lyle gets “Fred,” his old van driver, to pick him up. Fred stops for gas, and winds up filling Lyle’s empty scotch bottle instead. Suspicious now, Fred delivers him to Old Vic. His legs aching, Lyle uses a wheelchair to roll into the old barn next door with his full bottle and his gun. Suddenly Matteo appears. At the Limo Service, Berto is dancing to a boom box. Frank called for backup, and two squad cars screech up. Berto reveals his AR-15 and fires away. Georgie takes aim, getting off one shot; then discovers her car’s on fire.
