D C Sekhar is a retired captain in the merchant navy, who is extremely passionate about Mathematics & Physics, with a deep passion for bringing innovation to solve problems. Traveling across the world via waters made him realize the severity of the ocean floating waste problem. He believes that the human brain is a great design machine and a splendid tool one can have, With this zeal to solve this, he started Alphamers Ltd., zeal fueled with passion brings out great innovations! That's how Alphamers Ltd came up with the floating trash barrier idea to prevent floating waste from entering the river bodies, which 100% Indian Solution, with no energy requirements for it's operation!

They have cleaned three city rivers and managed to prevent 50 thousand tons of trash from going into the oceans!

Now, this technology is deployed in eight cities in India!
