Get Offset is hosted by Emily Harris and touches on a different topic each week. What in the world is Live Nation up to?

The live event behemoth recently made a colossal announcement—that they are ending the decades-long practice of taking a cut of artist merch sales at their venues, rolling out over the next few months.

And though this announcement has been widely cheered and celebrated, it’s not the concession everyone thinks that it is. And yes, lots of bands will still see 10-30% of their merch sales go to Live Nation venues when they perform there.
