In today's episode, former Celtic star and pundit Andy Walker expressed his concern about such language used by the VAR official, emphasising that there should be no easy way out when applying the laws of the game. He added that such incidents make him feel that the people operating VAR are not feeling the atmosphere of the game because they are not present on the ground.
Walker did not mention any names or the game involved, but he pointed out that referees now have a safety net, and someone else will tell them if they got it right or wrong.
