"Get in the Mud" is a podcast dedicated to exploring the messy progression of healing, growth, and the human experience. Real transformation requires us to get dirty, actively taking responsibility for the one thing in life we CAN control: ourselves. Life is not linear, neat, or perfect and neither are we. We cannot change who we pretend to be, but we can change who we truly are when we own it fully, mess and all.

Toxic Relationships: Reclaiming Yourself after Gaslighting, Abuse, and Manipulation

Trigger Warning: Abuse, manipulation, gaslighting, narcissistic abuse.

Please know you are not alone, and there are resources available to help you along your journey of reclaiming yourself and navigating life after abuse. Please contact The National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1 (800) -799-7233 for more in depth resources and support.

The chaotic roller coaster ride of emotions, unstable foundations, walking on eggshells to avoid world war 3, never feeling safe, yet feeling tied to them still.. The 'hidden' subtle nature of abuse doesn't ever feel subtle, and today we're going to bring it to light.

Toxic (unhealthy) relationships are something we will all face over the course of our lives, in some form of another. Whether it's within a family structure, intimate relationships, the workplace, psychological manipulation and abuse robs us of our relationship to our authentic self, true presence, and the divine connection of our intuition.

In today's solo episode, I share my story about unhealthy relationships stemming from childhood and leading me into various other abusive patterns throughout my life. Please know that you are not alone, this isn't your fault, and your liberation and healing is completely possible. I am a living testament that a vibrant, fulfilling life after exists for YOU not matter what you've experienced.

I want nothing more than to see you step into your power. I promise you, there's hope.

Sending you so much love, today and always.
