1896, prelude to 1897
1897 was a very strange, and hectic year, as far as UFOlogy goes. If you think 1947 was the start of the UFO age, then read up on 1897. What is little known is that the Great 1897 Airship Flap actually started in late September 1896. These are all from my books on Strange Phenomena and UFOs. Was it all real? Was it all false? There were hundreds of reports of Ufos in 1897 but quite a few in 1896 as the prelude to it. Support the show
