Joe Gantz - Emmy Award Winning Filmmaker

Will Stein’s interviewee for this episode is Joe Gantz. Joe is known for work that examines personal stories with honesty, humour, and depth. His film style, called “life in progress”, allows subjects to be comfortable enough to go about their daily life as if there was no one filming. His credits include Taxicab Confessions, American Winter and Ending Disease. His latest film, The Race To Save The World illuminates the human stories in the fight for climate action. Rather than focusing on scary statistics and abstract predictions, the feature follows a range of environmental campaigners, of all ages, who are prepared to sacrifice everything in order to save the world.

The LSE Geography & Environment Department and Society will have an online Special Preview Screening of the film documentary the day before world earth day on 21st April. The ticket is available on the LSE GeogBrella link tree (https://linktr.ee/GeogBrella)
