On this episode, co-hosts Maisie Meade and Neethi Swamy welcome Farrell Styers, an American man with years of Expat experience under his belt. Farrell has been living in Gent, Belgium for over 7 years and recently has taken on the role of Founder and Head Brewer at Stroom Brouwers CV, his very own brewery situated in the heart of Gent. At Stroom, Farrell specializes in making exquisite, delicious craft beers without the high alcohol content.
Farrell brings us through his adventures from the US to Central Asia, and ultimately Gent, Belgium, where he has turned his passion for storytelling and good, craft beer into his full time job. Being an entrepreneur isn't easy, especially in a foreign country - that's why we are so thrilled to bring you our conversation with Farrell where we dive into navigating your own business, facing unforeseen challenges and ultimately how passion and grit play a key role in turning your dreams into your reality.
To learn more, you can reach out to Farrell via his LinkedIn or if you're in the area you can most likely find him at the brewery! To hear more from Farrell you can also check out his very own podcast here.
