Η Gen Z, άτομα γεννημένα μεταξύ των μέσων της δεκαετίας του 1990 και των μέσων της δεκαετίας του 2010, μεγάλωσε σε έναν κόσμο όπου οι πλατφόρμες μέσων κοινωνικής δικτύωσης, όπως το Instagram, το Snapchat, το TikTok και το Twitter ήταν πανταχού παρούσες.
