90s Talk Shows
This week we lost Phil Donahue, the godfather of the modern day talk show. He started the Phil Donahue show in 1967 which ran until 1996. His style of audience participation, opened the door for many, many other very entertaining talk shows of the 1990s. Listen as I share a short history of some of these shows from my Gen X perspective. Also, please share your favorite talk shows from the 90s in the comments and be sure to subscribe to my podcast.
