A picture is worth a thousand words but it also elicits even more profound feelings. This week I’m joined by lifestyle/commercial photographer and soulful imagery curator, Mecoh Bain. Located in Calgary Canada, Mecoh uses her camera as a vessel to showcase the realities of human expression, interaction, and culture. Vulnerability, leading with her heart, and aligned purpose are all part of Mecoh’s practice. In this conversation she shares how she finally said “yes” to her passion, carved out her own path, and the importance of starting even when you don’t have all the “tools.” Mecoh also highlights why it’s important for her work to go beyond beautiful imagery, tell real stories, and give light to those often left in the shadows.
