Following on from our conversation a couple of episodes back about micro transactions we stumbled across the following article https://bit.ly/3p6pqfj where a mother faces a $16k bill after her 6 year old son racks up in app purchases which sparked the question do companies, like app store owners, game publishers or even your preferred bank, do enough to protect you the consumer when it comes to things like this? Or does it rest on you the individual to be more clued up on these in app purchases?
