On the first half of today’s show, the boys are joined by the one and only Hope and jump into a round table of updates. Nick talks about kicking off the season and his weekend of events, including PRIDE with Hope and NHPC team. Jae doesn’t have much to report on, and Tom shares his and a friend’s negative experience at a local festival this weekend. We end the first half of the show with a conversation about Yale New Haven Health and how their decision to no longer provide gender-affirming care is affecting the community.
We come back from break, sadly, without Hope and jump right into Suicide Prevention Month. The boys talk about the current political climate affecting suicide rates both in LGBTQ+ youth and adults. We also share resources for all of our listeners whether if they are in need of education or support.
