17. The Way You Talk About Your Ex

If I asked you to tell me about your ex, what would you say? Would you have negative things to say?

Talking negatively about your ex is unnecessary, and it is unattractive.

The more you blame an ex for why a relationship failed, the less responsibility you show you will be willing to take in your next relationship.

You must release resentment you feel about your exes if you want to open yourself up to a new, healthy relationship.

And, what you say about your ex says nothing about your ex, and everything about you.

If you say your ex was manipulative, selfish, and toxic, that doesn't reveal anything about your ex. It reveals everything about you.

When you make your ex as the "problem" in the relationship, when other other men date you, they think, "Well, I don't want to be the next one he labels as the problem."

It is not a requirement for you to carry judgment an ex after the relationship ends.

In this episode, we explore the way you talk about your ex.
