No episódio de hoje, A pimenta Jamaica, ou Allspice em inglês, pertence à família das mirtáceas, a mesma da goiaba e cravo da Índia. É uma baga seca da árvore pimenta dióica, nativa da Jamaica, Guatemala e Honduras. Hoje é cultivada e apreciada em muitas partes do mundo. As bagas são colhidas pouco antes de atingirem a maturidade total e são deixadas para secar ao sol. Quando secas, eles se tornam marrons e se assemelham a grãos de pimenta.
