Welcome to Game On JOY 94.9’s Home of Sport every Wednesday from 6-7pm where you’ll hear where you can get your game on! This show is all about showcasing where sport is safe, inclusive, welcoming and fun for the Rainbow community!
We turn our attention to the sport of badminton. Stefanie Lim, newly appointed Co-President of the Shuttle Swingers and one of the key organisers behind the upcoming Sydney Trans Tasman 2025 Badminton Tournament joins the show. The Pride Football Australia Tournament is over for another year hosted by Melbourne Rovers and held at the Home of the Matildas in Bundoora thanks to the support of Melbourne Victory and Football Victoria. LGBTQIA+ inclusive teams from across Australia took part across two days of celebration Perth Pride FC was there kicking goals in more ways than one! We chat with Founder Phillip Griffiths about setting up Perth’s first LGBTQIA+ soccer club, how you can get involved and hosting the next Pride Football Australia Tournament! (Starts 12:30mins)
Andrew Kegele, Chapter Lead When No One’s Watching (WNOW) wants you to join in 6am every Wednesday at St Kilda Beach rain hail or shine for a run, workout, swim and circle of 60 press ups followed by a coffee and a chat.
