In figuring out what to write for this artist’s bio, I used Chat-GPT and then had an identity crisis about my sonic and cultural landscape: Am I more Vietnamese or American? Where do I belong? How can I find true connection in a digital world? When’s the last time I called my mom?
This vignette captures all the reasons why I mix booty-bouncing Jersey/techno and ambient breaks for girls who want to dance their existential crisis away. In a way, my mix is tightly woven with experiences of a generation seeking both escape and meaning in the music.
