Does Job Security Really Exist? Well in a nut shell yes, But...! There are obviously types of careers that can give more security and will be required for a very long time. Take, computer programming for one might be a very good choice for anyone starting out or looking to change careers. But there is a danger, that if you work for an organisation that doesn’t regularly update its ways of working and its computer systems and software solutions to tackle real-world industry problems you can become out of date very easily. This could the same for any career choices from finance to lawyers to medical research to retail. If you stand still for to long you could be at a real disadvantage

1. Reflect on what skills you have and what your chosen industry requires. 

2. Constantly learn new skills and ways of working 

3. Gain experiences and network with great people 

4. Apply the above so people want to employ you and pay you money 

5. Never take anything for granted and enjoy what you do
