Enoch Raavi is a St. Louis-born arts enthusiast, professional DJ, self-published recording artist (Enoch Raavi and the Indigenous Groove) and bassist. Enoch studied radio production in the mid 1990’s and became an announcer on the Webster University-based radio station KSLH Jazz 91.5 in St. Louis. As early as 2003, Enoch has traversed throughout several iterations of  ’podcasts’. Long before the advent of Apple’s iPod, he began webcasting with a station on Live 365, which was inevitably followed by syndicated episodes on Podomatic. In order, the original shows were entitled… “Eklektika”,”Soul Safari”, “Knocturnal Sunshine”, and the last of which was “Global Warmth”, which had a corresponding listening party event featuring live musical acts, African drumming and deejaying, and was housed at several brick & mortar locations. You can find a few of these archived here, and in response to popular demand, do expect new material and shows in the Spring of 2022. Exact dates will be published soon, so for now please enjoy these older episodes, which never get old, and stay tuned for the future installments!

Knocturnal Sunshine: Sapiosexual
Silence is golden, as are the the nuggets in the form of spaces in between the notes while listening to or playing music. So much more does the unsaid do to help make phrasings understood, the telepathy of tunes, if you would. And yet there is even so much more being unsaid during our daily comings and goings, but somehow we get it, by listening intently, with our inner parts. This abstract blend of ingredients will challenge you to do the same, hearing without hearing certain things. The songs speak for themselves as they float into the ethers... Georgia Anne Muldrow, Moonchild, and Louie Vega's Elements Of Life, with a sprinkle of some of the UK's finest acts,Jamiroquai, Reel People plus MDCL who takes us to his ceremonius Church of groove. Get planted, we're diggin' deeper. Namaste.
