Episode 4 opening hand:

Opening hand:

  • Inca Dove. When played: Lay 1 egg on each ofyour birds with a platform/stick nest.
  • Gray Catbird: When activated: Repeat a brownpower on one other bird in this habitat.
  • Red Avadavat: When activated: Give one card fromyour hand to another player. If you do, draw 2 cards.
  • Carolina Chickadee. When activated: Gain 1 wheatfrom the supply and cache it on this card.
  • Australasian Shoveller. When activated: Choose 1other player. You both draw 1 card from the deck.


Bonus cards:

  • Winter Feeder. Food remaining in your supply atgame end. 4-6 food = 4 points, 7+ food = 7 points.
  • Bird Bander. Birds that can live in multiple habitats. 4-5 birds = 4 points, 6+ birds = 7 points.


In the tray:

  • Clark’s Grebe. When activated: Draw 1 card. If you do, discard 1 card from your hand at the end of your turn.
  • Black Stork. Round end: Lay 1 egg on each of thebirds immediately to the left and right of this bird
  • Pesquet’s Parrot. When activated: If the previous player has a nectar in their personal supply, gain 1 nectar from the general supply.


Episode 5 opening hand - 3 player game, going 2nd.

  • Ruddy Duck. When activated: draw 2 cards. If you do, discard 1 card from your hand at the end of your turn.
  • Budgerigar. When activated: tuck the smallest bird in the tray behind this bird.
  • Rock Pigeon. When activated: all players lay 1 egg. You lay 1 additional egg.
  • Oriental Magpie-Robin. Round end power: for every 3 eggs in your grasslands, gain one wheat or worm from the supply. You may cache up to 2 of them on this bird.
  • Black Redstart. Round end: Choose a habitat with no eggs. Lay 1 egg on each bird in that habitat.


Bonus cards:

  • Backyard Birder: birds worth less than 4 points. 7 or more birds: 6 points.
  • Oologist: birds that have at least 1 egg laid on them. 9 or more birds: 6 points.


Opening tray:

  • Grey Butcherbird. When activated: look at a card from the deck. If its wingspan is less than 40cm, tuck it behind this bird and cache 1 rat from the supply on this bird. If not, discard it.
  • Wild Turkey. No power. 8 points.
  • Audouin's Gull. When activated: draw two cards from the deck. Tuck 1 behind this bird and keep the other.
