Cochran is on trial for murdering her husband Michael Cochran in 2019.Raleigh County Prosecuting Attorney Tom Truman said Natalie Cochran used insulin that a friend had given to her to murder her husband because she was running a multi million dollar Ponzi scheme and Michael was pushing for answers about where investors money was going.
Truman also said Michael Cochran laid unconscious for hours and Natalie Cochran refused to get help, even after friends visited and urged her to seek medical care. Truman continued to say that another couple had insisted Michel Cochran get help and that’s how Michael Cochran ended up at a local hospital.He eventually ended up in Hospice care where he died.
