Initial call: Officers from Celina were dispatched to a report of a man with a knife and requested assistance from the Mercer County Sheriff's Office.
Confrontation: Deputies arrived to find Alik armed with a knife. A Celina officer first deployed a taser, which was ineffective.
Shooting: Cruiser camera video released by the sheriff's office shows Alik raising the knife, then charging toward Deputy Spencer Heinl. Heinl responded by firing his weapon multiple times.
