Champions League quarter-finalists back in April, Aston Villa are enduring a torrid start to the season and find themselves winless, in the bottom three, and with just one goal to their name.

Most opponents would be enthused at the prospect of adding to their woes. The only trouble is we have won just one league game at Villa Park in the past 52 years.
