Sobriety and Recovery are not the same things. Sobriety is abstaining from the substance(s) one is addicted too. Recovery is the act of diving inward and healing the trauma and suffering that led to addictive behaviors. While there are infinite ways one can take to quit using and move from sobriety to recovery, hands down, taking this journey with a growth mindset, humility, gratitude, and integrity are foundational cornerstones Jesse could not have made it this far without. Join the conversation as we discuss personal growth, self-development, sobriety, recovery, alcohol and drug addiction, and so much more - all weaved through NLP and lived experiences.

Radical Acceptance: Yourself, your reality, your past, your addiction
Ep #307: You know how you look around and get a bit upset at yourself for the life you have created, the situation you are in, or how you behave? The problem you circle back to again and again and again and again is that you are not happy about certain aspects of your life, and you think that if you beat yourself up enough times, you will FINALLY get it right and start doing the right thing or something else that will change it all. Like you can move all the pieces around over and over and eventually you will get a better picture. We know what it is like when something pops inside of us, and no matter what, we are determined to make it better or right or something different than what it is now. Hell, we did this with our addictions. Enough is enough is enough is enough, and come hell or high water, we are swimming through this deluge until we find solid ground. When you radically accept your life, your behaviors, yourself, YOUR REALITY -  it is in that moment of acceptance the clarity you seek finds you. Imagine if the only thing stopping you from creating the life you have always desired was simply accepting yourself for who you were, are, and will be and, from that seat of empowerment, making the wise-minded decision to take a step. That step, in whatever direction you choose, is one that truly begins when you accept yourself in the now. That, my friends, is freedom.   Just hit play, and let's dive in with open minds and hearts—you are in the right place, at the right time—right now. ******************************************** PLEASE SUBSCRIBE, FOLLOW, RATE, AND REVIEW my show on your preferred streaming app. Every little bit helps this show reach those who need it most. ******************************************** Please support the show (I'm a one-man band over here) Free ebooks and links for coaching and the like: https://stan.store/jessemogle Buy me a coffee to keep me going:  http://buymeacoffee.com/jessemogle Support me on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/jessemogle ******************************************** Website: https://www.jessemogle.com Please email me: fromsobrietytorecovery@gmail.com ******************************************** Complimentary 30-minute call with me: callcoachjesse.com Tik Tok: http://www.tiktok.com/@jessemogle Instagram: https://instagram.com/fromsobrietytorecovery LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jessemogle/ From Sobriety to Recovery Podcast: https://www.jessemogle.comfromsobrietytorecovery/ College Success Habits Podcast: https://www.jessemogle.com/collegesuccesshabitspodcast/ ********************************************  Join the From Sobriety to Recovery Tribe: https://www.jessemogle.com/thehub/ ********************************************   It is time.
