Mental health doesn't discriminate - A discussion about mental health in the community and Wellways initiatives
This is our last episode of our series on health. This episode we explore mental health with guest presenter Amielle discussing community mental health and initiatives run by Wellways. Mental health doesn't care about your gender, sexuality or cultural background. It can impact any one of us in a variety of ways.
Amielle is a proud queer or gay, trans masculine and gender queer human (pronouns he/him or they/them). He grew up in regional Victoria and NSW and has volunteered in the community most of their life but has more recently concentrated on volunteering in the LGBTIQ+ community. He now works in community services as a community engagement worker, facilitator and peer worker for Wellways Australia.
