In this episode, we read Nehemiah chapters 4–6. As the people rebuild Jerusalem’s walls, they face ridicule, threats, and plots from their enemies—but Nehemiah leads them with courage and prayer. With one hand they work, and with the other they defend. Despite schemes meant to distract and destroy him, Nehemiah refuses to give in. These chapters show how faith, focus, and perseverance can overcome opposition when we trust God’s purpose above all else.
