My story in the new book called Second Act- Seven Stories of Strength and Mindset Journal
I am so honored to have my story featured in this new book called "Second Act- Seven Stories of Strength and Mindset Journal" by Laura Coy. The dedication in the book says "This one's for the girls. For the mothers, sisters, aunts, friends and soul sisters in our lives. May you find strength in sharing your light with others. Early in 2024 a friend told me about a writing contest, to write a short story of hope and inspiration about my life. Initially I thought I couldn't write anything that others would want to read and then I let my ego go and began writing. It was so therapeutic and also so very difficult to share the most traumatic parts of my life. I was chosen as one of the seven contest winners for this amazing book and journal. This then lead me to creating my podcast "From Darkness to Love and Light" a place where women all over the world can share their stories of hope and inspiration. I hope my story helps support you in knowing that you are not alone, please share this story if you know of someone who may need to hear these words.
