Benny Salvador is at the forefront of a new dance movement in Aotearoa. The Te Whanganui-a-Tara based artist has a reputation for refined and exploratory dancefloor odysseys, driven by his innate curiosity and a childhood surrounded by music. He also an irrepressible force in the studio, with a wicked run of EPs out on his own imprint Aunty Records, features on compilations by Antal and Juke Bounce Werk, and a grab-bag of unreleased cuts and edits ready to be unleashed at every show. He takes over Friendly Potential Radio in anticipation of his appearance at Beacon Festival in Tāmaki Makaurau next weekend.
