Send us a text As if our elections aren't crazy enough in a normal year, this week we witnessed a true first in American elections. A failed assassination attempt on one candidate resulted in a vacancy on the ballot, but it was the other guy who dropped out. If this is an indicator of things to come, we are on the verge of a historical and impossibly shameful election cycle. I am here for the ride but I'm not happy about it.
