#033 You are not defined by your job – unlearning internalized capitalism, redefining 'what do you do?' (outside work) and the identity crisis that comes with rebalancing your life with Carolyn Martin

Internalized capitalism is a real thing, and learning, or rather, unlearning, those beliefs that unless we are productive, we aren’t worthy - is a huge part of why many choose to pursue a more nomadic or global lifestyle. In this episode I sit down with Carolyn Martin from @galaxy.tripping to chat all about her experience with taking the leap into travelling full time in her Toyota galaxy.

We talk about redefining the age-old question of ‘what do you do’ to be more than your job, and the identity crisis that came along with it. Whether your travelling full time trying to unlearn these systems for yourself, or working along the way and trying to cultivate a more healthy relationship with your work identity, this episode is for you!

PS.  If you have loved this episode, we would be so grateful if you could leave us a review - let us know what you thought (and don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to get notified of future episodes + show your support).
