
Palina Kot, an MS in Biomedical science student going to PhD at Nagasaki University, doing her research on DNA repair. She was also an Assistant Professor and volunteered at UNICEF. Her story depicts the kind of perseverance she had and is continuing to show to pursue a career in science.
In addition to her scientific contribution, she is also an illustrator, showing the world that how science can be illustrated in a very artistic way and is a part of Nagazasshi magazine.
