This week on FRANCHI$ED hosts Jonathan Foster, Ariane Anantaputri & Fil Freitas, on their way to Seattle to make it big as the next Nirvana, decide to stake out a military base where they've heard human corpses are being exposed to a deadly gas that turns them into the Living Dead. Once there, they witness a young man re-animate his deceased girlfriend and all hell breaks loose!
We made it past Dan O'Bannon's punk rock zombie classic and Ken Wiederhorn's attempt to do the same story but with kids. Now we are treated to something completely out of left field, with Brain Yuzna's 1993 romantic horror RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD III.
Join us as we are treated to a Romeo and Juliet-esque tale, with lots of blood and guts, tons of unfortunate stereotypes, and the super talented & gorgeous Melinda Clarke giving Bub from George A. Romero's Day of the Dead a run for his money, as one of the most unique zombies in film history. It ain't perfect. It's debatably good. But, it sure is different...
It's time to get Zombified and FRANCHI$ED!
