Alberto Fantappie is the Founder and CEO of Wemby. Previously to starting Wemby, he was an HR and finance officer in Afghanistan ad South Sudan for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Before switching paths, he led the South Europe marketing team at Zalando in Berlin, managing a budget in excess of €70M. Earlier to Zalando, he bootstrapped a short-term property rentals app in Paris, and held other roles in banking, managing consulting and internet companies, including Rocket Internet and Google. He holds an MSc in Management from City university and ESCP business school.
