In this week’s conversation, I got to hear some raw, real truths from Alejandro Patterson about the emotional rollercoaster of being a founder.

We talked about something that so many entrepreneurs face but rarely discuss: how lonely the journey can be. The hustle, the drive, and the pressure to succeed can unintentionally push friends and family to the sidelines.

It’s easy to set big goals, but how often do we step back and ask:

• Did I follow through on what I said I would?
• What pulled me off track?
• What actually worked—and what didn’t?

Or the fear of being seen as vulnerable—or worse, incompetent—holds us back from reaching out.
