In this episode of the Found in Christ podcast, Ashira sits down with Tariro, or T for short, again as they go through the topic of Boundaries within Friendships. They speak about why boundaries are important within the friendship context, how they actually function to protect us rather than hurt others, and practical steps in which we can begin to draw boundaries within a friendship.
Remember that you are a child of God, and you shouldn't be letting anyone step all over you, even if that person is a close friend. You are precious and beloved, and sometimes drawing a line in the sand can be for our good or for the good of another. It's not a bad thing to draw boundaries, limit communication or stop communication with someone altogether. You're not a bad person if you do that. "Like a city that is broken down and without walls [leaving it unprotected] Is a man who has no self-control over his spirit [and sets himself up for trouble]." Proverbs 25 : 28 (AMP)
