In 2015 she was a co-editor in Nordic Drama Magazine, where the topic was Green Drama. This year she has co-edited a new issue, 2/2020 of Nordic Drama Magazine. The magazine will be published in October with focus on sustainability.

Ylva Sjaastad: musikk, miljø og intuitiv fortelling
Denne uken snakket Heid Jerstad med Ylva Sjaastad, som er medlem av rådet til fortellerradioen, så her har vi henne foran mikrofonen i stedet for bak kulissene! Ylva begynte som forteller sommeren 1998 da hun fortalte om den glefsende Fenrisulven og Tor med hammerens brudeferd ved bålet i et vikinghus. Hun har siden fortalt i et mylder av settinger, men oftest i gymsaler fulle av skolebarn spredt utover landet. Ylva kombinerer historiefortelling med musikk og utforsker en fortellerstil der musikk og fortelling blir ett fortellende musikalsk uttrykk. For ni år siden oppdaget hun intuitiv improvisert fortellerkunst. Hun har siden laget forestillinger som er improviserende og interaktive der publikum inviteres med i skapelsen av fortellingen. Vi snakket om dette og om hennes nyere praksis og interesse for hva historiene kan bidra med i møtet med miljøkrisen.
