Heli teaches drama and theatre at Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU, at Department og Arts and Media Studies. Georgiana Keable meets Heli to speak about storytelling, the environment and traditional Finnish runo-singing. Heli’s research has focused on drama and theatre where relations between Humans and Nature are seen from a post-humanistic perspective. In 2015 she was a co-editor in Nordic Drama Magazine, where the topic was Green Drama. This year she has co-edited a new issue, 2/2020 of Nordic Drama Magazine. The magazine will be published in October with focus on sustainability.

Denne ukens podcast er en samtale med Sarah Osmundsen, forteller og poet. Sarahs poesi og fortelling er fra den verden hun ser rundt seg; smerter og gleder, drømmer og opplevelser, alt som rører henne. Tekstene hennes leverer hun i en særegen stil der rytme, rim, melodi og språk møtes. Med røtter fra Stavanger på fars side, og Martinique på mors side bærer hun en rik kulturell arv som kommer fram i hennes materiale. Sarah har vært med på å gi liv i slam-poesi miljøet i Oslo. I 2011 fikk hun tittelen som Norgesmester i poesislam. Sarah jobber stadig med nytt materiale, også i samarbeid med musikere. I podcasten får vi høre fortellingen om en gutt som går og besøker moren sin på sykehuset der hun jobber, om brumletrollet som kan ramme de fleste av oss og om kolibrien. Sarah snakker også om å bruke poesi og musikk med fortelling, både i forestilling, og i kreative verksted og kurs.
