The good thing about Ravening Hordes is that it gives you access to allies (which are an army within your army) and mercenaries. The good thing about mercenaries is that they can supplement your army. The BAD thing about mercenaries is that they can at some point choose to supplement your opponent's army! Take a trip back in time, away from all the Cathay news and releases, to the final section of the Ravening Hordes (1987, there's so many it needs a designation).
