Episode 3: Your Online Self

Last 7 June 2020, hundreds of people living in the Philippines woke up to find newly created Facebook accounts bearing their names. Speculation and fear ran rampant and the cause of these accounts remains unknown. In this episode of For The Record, we look at the ways we curate, present, and share information about ourselves online with guests Atty. Regine Estillore of the UP Diliman Data Protection Office and our own Prof. Dan Anthony Dorado.

This episode is predominantly in Filipino.

For The Record is not a lecture or a webinar. It is intended as a casual introduction to key concepts in archives and records management through a relaxed yet academic discourse. Concepts and principles mentioned in the series should be interpreted within an academic context and do not constitute legal advice. You should not act upon any such information without first seeking qualified professional counsel on your specific matter.
