Episode 23: Dr Julie Hakim On Living A Delicious Life

In this episode I speak with Dr. Julie Hakim. We speak about everything from living a delicious life to women's health to traveling the world.

Dr. Julie Hakim is a board-certified OB/GYN with a subspecialty in pediatric gynecology and an advanced degree in vaginal wound healing.

She is also the Co-founder and Medical Director of FemTech Focus.

Dr. Hakim is part of a new wave of FemTech innovators disrupting the market through technologies in the field of women’s health and wellness. She is the co-inventor of a patent for the world’s first vaginal stent designed specifically for pediatric and adolescent gynecology. The stent’s design aids in vaginal healing and recovery following the trauma of surgical or radiation treatments. This invention has been achieved by Dr. Hakim and her all-women research lab - based in the largest medical center in the world. Dr. Julie Hakim is also the first and only Pediatric GYN in North America to also run a basic science lab.
