We sat down for the second time with sport psychologist Dan Abrahams. Dan has worked some of the world's best athletes including premier league players and most recently with Arne Slot at Feyenoord during their title winning season. Even Gareth Bale said Dan's book "Soccer Tough" was life changing.

It's been over 2 years since we had him on and he has furthered his insights into how athletes tick. In this episode, we covered a range of topics from ANTS, Game Face & Match Script which we touched on last episode, but also spoke about his more recent findings with High Performance Mindset (HPM) and Low Performance Mindset (LPM) and how to best get into HPM. This is where the idea of attention, intensity and intent come in. Did you know that you can increase your chance of scoring a penalty by 10% if you simply wait 5 seconds after the whistle to begin your run-up? Or why communicating on the field can actually push you into HPM if done with the right amount of attention, intensity and intent?
