Football 2 the MAX: Chiefs & Lions Hold Serve, XFL Coming Back?
On this special Sunday morning edition of Football 2 the MAX, Sean Garmer and Erik Watkins discuss the big win for the Kansas City Chiefs over the Los Angeles Chargers. They now sit one win, or a loss by a division foe, from clinching the NFC West. The guys breakdown the sudden surge by the Chiefs offense. The reappearance of Kareem Hunt. Plus, they also discuss the Detroit Lions win over the Chicago Bears too.
The guys did spend time previewing games that already happened on Sunday.
However, they end the show talking some non NFL news. This week, information came out from Brad Shepard and David Bixenspan of Deadspin that Vince McMahon is highly considering bringing back the XFL. Then, news came out on Saturday that he'd bought trademarks to the United Football League. So, perhaps there's even more validity to it. The duo discuss if they think this actually happens. Plus, they converse on how a second run at the XFL could succeed. If you were a fan of the crazy league from 2001, be sure to listen to the last 20 minutes of the show.
