Ro: Ionuț privea melancolic prin geamul mare al aeroportului, urmărind cum frunzele de toamnă erau purtate de vânt.
En: Ionuț looked melancholically through the large window of the airport, watching how the autumn leaves were carried by the wind.

Ro: Se afla la Aeroportul Internațional Henri Coandă, cu valiza lângă el, și simțea un amestec de emoții – entuziasm și teamă.
En: He was at Aeroportul Internațional Henri Coandă, with his suitcase beside him, feeling a mix of emotions – excitement and fear.

Ro: Urma să plece într-o altă țară pentru un loc de muncă nou.
En: He was about to leave for another country for a new job.

Ro: Era fericit că avea această oportunitate, dar își făcea griji despre viața departe de familie.
En: He was happy to have this opportunity, but he worried about life away from his family.

Ro: În timp ce se îndrepta spre zona de check-in, îl întâlnește din întâmplare pe Radu, un prieten din copilărie.

Ro: Chiar tu ești?
En: Is that really you?"

Ro: ” îl întreabă Radu.
En: asked Radu.

Ro: „Da, ce surpriză!
En: "Yes, what a surprise!

Ro: Plec și eu astăzi”, răspunde Ionuț, încercând să-și mascheze emoțiile.
En: I'm leaving today as well," replied Ionuț, trying to mask his emotions.

Ro: Cei doi au vorbit puțin, dar Ionuț simțea că nu era complet sincer despre îndoielile sale.
En: The two talked a little, but Ionuț felt he wasn't completely honest about his doubts.

Ro: După ce și-au luat la revedere, în drum spre biroul de check-in, ochii lui Ionuț s-au întâlnit cu cei ai Alexandrei, o prietenă veche din liceu pe care nu o mai văzuse de ani buni.
En: After they said their goodbyes, on his way to the check-in desk, Ionuț's eyes met those of Alexandra, an old high school friend he hadn't seen in years.

Ro: „Alexandra, ce bucurie să te văd!
En: "Alexandra, what a joy to see you!"

Ro: ” exclamă el.
En: he exclaimed.

Ro: „Ionuț, wow, cât timp a trecut!
En: "Ionuț, wow, how long it's been!"

Ro: ”, răspunde Alexandra cu un zâmbet larg.
En: replied Alexandra with a broad smile.

Ro: Au dat mâinile și au început să povestească.
En: They shook hands and began to chat.

Ro: Alexandra i-a spus că și ea s-a mutat în străinătate pentru studii acum câțiva ani și că deși la început a fost greu, a fost cea mai bună decizie pe care a luat-o.
En: Alexandra told him that she also moved abroad for studies a few years ago and that, although it was difficult at first, it was the best decision she ever made.

Ro: „La început suntem cu toții speriați.
En: "At first, we're all scared.

Ro: Dar așa ne descoperim pe noi înșine, crescând și învățând din fiecare experiență,” i-a spus Alexandra cu calm, privindu-l adânc în ochi.
