En: True, the weather was cold and the wind made the day even chillier, but Витоша was like a dreamscape with its autumn colors.

En: The gardens in the complex were full of children who played around the beautiful trees and enjoyed the last warmth of the season.

En: Васил was just leaving his large office building, exhausted from a long workday.

En: Balancing work and family always seemed challenging to him.

En: Especially since his daughter, Мария, was convinced he was always busy.

En: She eagerly begged him to come to the school's Halloween event this time and see her skit.

En: It was important not only for Мария but also for himself.

En: So, after checking his calendar urgently and finding an open window of a few hours, Васил sent a message to his boss.

En: "I need to leave early.

En: I will return for tomorrow's meeting," he wrote with nerves clenched by a pinch of worry.

En: In the elevator, while pondering whether he made the right move, his gaze fell on a spinning leaf.

En: "Well, that's fate," he told himself.

En: "This day is meant for Мария."

En: At the school, Васил headed towards the large hall where the party was taking place.
