En: The scent of wet earth and fresh flowers hung in the air.

Af: Pieter het stadig tussen die reuse bome geloop.
En: Pieter walked slowly among the giant trees.

Af: Hy het gehou van die stilte.
En: He loved the silence.

Af: Dit was 'n perfekte plek om na te dink.
En: It was a perfect place to reflect.

Af: Pieter het onlangs 'n groot teleurstelling in sy lewe ervaar.
En: Pieter had recently experienced a significant disappointment in his life.

Af: Hy het werk verloor, en met dit het sy selfvertroue ook verdwyn.
